Chandigarh: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, after two years has issued orders regarding the withdrawal of promotion orders of 11 clerks who were promoted to the post of Office Superintendent promoted through LDCE.
The order (a copy of which is with Daily Pos) reads, “Reference your replies dated 06/07.02.2017 to the show cause notice issued to you on the subject noted above, after considering all the points raised in your representations, it has been decided to withdraw your promotion orders as Office Superintendent issued vide office order No.F.19019/EI(2)/PGI/2015 dated 20.04.2015 with immediate effect.”
“You are reverted to your post prior to promotion as office superintendent and report to the concerned Administrative Officers as you were doing prior to orders dated April 20, 2015. You are at liberty to appear in the ensuing Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. These orders have been issued with the approval of DPGI,” further reads the order.
Meanwhile, the order reads, “Your replies to the show cause notice have been considered. It has been found that there is a sharp change in marks secured by you in the original evaluation and re-evaluation. It is indicative of the fact that something is seriously wrong and needs to be rectified. Since both the evaluations are at great variance, fairness, governance and transparency demand to act in a manner, which is fair and equal to all.
