Kapurthala: Police have solved 9 day-old blind murder case of a widow which took place in Sunnarawal village. SSP, Kapurthala Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that on March 9, a widow Paramjit Kaur was murdered and a complaint was lodged against eight persons with whom the deceased family hand land dispute.
Complainant Kulwinder Kaur said that her father in-law Gurmej Singh, a resident of village Talwandi Bharo said to her that on March 9, he went to meet his relative in village Sunnarawal, where he noticed four youth including Sarabjit Singh alias Sabhi his brother Hardeep Singh alias Deepa , Sukhwinder Singh alias Bona , Satwinder Singh alias Sajan coming out of a white colour Bolero and entering the house of the deceased.
Kapil Chabra who was driving the vehicle took the vehicle to Kala Sanghian side. The accused along with murdering the Paramjit Kaur also stole gold ornaments.
SSP, further stated that following the tip off , police party led by SHO PS Sadar seized the vehicle used in crime and arrested Sarabjit Singh and Satwinder Singh while other three are still at large.
DSP(Subdivision), Kapurthala D S Dhillon said that the the duo had admitted their crime in preliminary investigation and were produced before area magistrate on Saturday, who sent the duo on two days police remand.
