Ludhiana: Budding writer Harkirat Kaur Chahal who basically hails from Vancour, Canada has launched her book “Tere Bajon” which is based on social relations in contemporary world here on Saturday at Punjabi Bhawan.
While talking to Daily Post, Kaur shared, “The focus should be on social relationships and specially on the role of an individual’s life in other. To make strong bonds between the family members each and every person should be strict towards his or her commitments and duties. Family should be the first priority of every individual. Mother and father both play a significance role and their sacrifices should be worth respected by the children. The young generation should be aware of the importance of mother and mother language.”
Kaur further added, “The main motive of writing this novel in Punjabi language was because through this, I want to convey a message to the youngsters that we should be proud of Punjabi and should promote this language t our best by not one feeling ashamed of speaking Punjabi.”
Kaur has done her graduation B.Sc, Home Science, B.Ed and M.Sc of food and Technology. She was a student of Punjab Agricultural University.
While talking to DP, Kaur also shared that she got an offer from Pakistan to translate her book in their language. She said that she will think about translating her book in other languages when she will reach Canada.
