Ludhiana :Re-demarcation of police station and change in police infrastructure will be the prior steps averred by Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh Commissioner of Police here on Sunday.
However, eradication of Halka in charge in city is another step which will be on his prior step. He also claimed that political leaders have divided their constituencies and their stations, now, all this system will be abolished.
The police chief also said that seven of the police stations including Police division number 5, PAU, Focal Point, Jamalpur, Moti Nagar, Basti Jodhewal and Sadar are under jurisdiction of other police stations and far from their respective areas.
The orders for making the report in this regard has been done and the proper locations will be made so that people would not suffer from any problem.
However, proper transparency in the police department will be made so that common people would not suffer from any problem. The pending complaints in different police stations will be resolved at the earliest.
Importantly, he clarified that no political interference will be allowed in the working of police and proper work will be soon to streamline the problems in city.
To eradicate the crime rate in city, special strategists have been made against drug mafia and gangsters ruling city.
The commissioner of police also said that there will be full transparency in police working. He will make sure that no one will be wrongly implicated in any case.
The people who have been implicated in false case can meet him for investigation. He added that police will also lodge FIR in all snatchings and burglaries cases, earlier, the police were reluctant to lodge FIR in such cases to show less crime rate in city, which somewhere help criminals.
Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh while chiding the officers said no officer knows Punjab Police rules. He has asked all officers to read it and to implement it strongly.
All officers have been functionally independent to act according to rules and the police will not allow any political influence in working.
