Recall your time when you were in college. Parties and hangouts were so common with friends. Today also majority of the college students prefer organising parties and go for night outs etc but there are a few who at a very young age becomes an inspirational figure for many. This is what city lad Anmol Kwatra is trying to do.
A final year student of PCTE, Kwatra remains busy in serving society. At a very young age, Kwatra is not only pursuing his BBA final year but along with that he is running a school with around 30 poor students who cannot afford educational expenses and the cherry on cake is that the teachers who are working are teaching students free of cost. Kwatra often visits a blind school in the city on daily basis to help students there and have successfully become an epitome of change as earlier the condition of the school was worst than ever. Due to his sincere efforts, the situation of the school now has got much better and the students there are full of praises for him.
While talking to Daily Post, he also informed, “On daily basis I used to visit the Elementary and Government schools, especially on the birthdays of the students to make their day more special with the best ways I can and the school authorities offer me to provide guest lectures to the students as well.”Besides serving society for good, Kwatra is also a fitness freak. He enjoys spending time in gym and makes sure that he do not miss workout on daily basis.
On asking him about what motivated him to serve society at such a young age he said, “Actually it happened when I was quite young. I don’t remember the incident also but my mother told me this thing. I and my mother were going to my maternal grandparent’s home in Hoshiarpur. So, before going, my father gave me 100 rupees to spend there. When we reached Hoshiarpur, we took a rickshaw to their house.
When we reached the destination the rickshaw-wala asked for the money, my mom gave the money but rickshaw-wala wasn’t looking satisfied so I gave my 100 rupeesto him. So, it shows from starting only I had compassion for others and the journey began.
