Los Angeles: Pop star Katy Perry is set toperform “Chained to the Rhythm” at this year’s Brit award ceremony.
The 32-year-old songstress will join previously-announced performers Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, Bruno Mars, Little Mix, The 1975 and more, reported AceShowbiz.
Perry, who last performed at the Brits in 2014, said, “I’m excited to come back to one of my favorite countries, where most of my favorite musical influences come from. After 3 years, I’m excited to return to the BRITs’ stage to kick off a new era of purposeful pop.” The Brits’ officials also took to Twitter to announce the news.
“Put your rose-coloured glasses on, and party on! @katyperry is performing at The #BRITs 2017 on 22 February!!!”
Meanwhile, the singer responded to the tweet, writing, “YAY 2nd chapter of #ChainedToTheRhythm continues in LONDON!” PTI
