The Central leadership of the BJP is giving sleepless nights to all four ministers of Punjab.
The party released the list of 17 out of 23 seats of its quota in alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal. Interestingly, all the six remaining seats were won by the party candidates in 2012 assembly polls. What makes the party’s game more interesting is the decision to keep all seats represented by the BJP ministers pending.
Anil Joshi, Chunni Lal Bhagat, Madan Mohan Mittal and Surjit Jyani are the four ministers in the Badal government but the party is now finding the anti-incumbency factor too prevalent that it decided to reconsider the names during a CEC meeting scheduled for January 15.
