That completed the dreams of thousands weaker section intelligent students.But the rules are changing and Rs. 200 will be charged for registration of entrance test for Class 11 from now onwards. Students have to pay its registration fees .The admission will take place through a common entrance test in all 22 districts on June 25. The authorities conducting a test for the first time last year, but no fee was charged.The meritorious schools project director, Maj Gen KAS Bhullar (retd), has issued a letter to all district education officers (DEOs, secondary)in which the admission process detail has given including fee charge for registration online of Entrance test.According to a source report The Punjab School Education Board has to pay for paper printing, conduct of the exam and collection and correction of papers. In the recently declared PSEB Class-12 results, the meritorious schools scored a pass percentage of 98.3% while 62.4% in statewide.Total of 4,650 seats are available for students to apply in Nine meritorious schools in a state. The registration for the test has started from today onwards June and can apply till 5pm of June 20 on the website of www.ssapunjab.org. The test will be held on 25 of june. The students should have scored 80% above marks in class 10.
