Oil companies announced reduction in petrol and diesel prices, giving some relief to the common man. Petrol is cheaper by Rs 2.16 a litre and diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.10 per litre and new rates have come into effect from Monday midnight.Prior to this, on 30th April petrol and diesel prices were marginally increased. At that time, petrol was sold at one rupee per litre and diesel was 44 paise per litre. Petrol prices are reviewed after every 15 days by petroleum companies.Petrol in Punjab will be cheaper by Rs 2.83
After the reduction in oil prices by oil companies, the price of petrol in Punjab will be reduced to Rs 2.83 and diesel will be reduced to 2.41 rupees. This deduction has been effective from Monday midnight.
