Uri terror attack: NIA send formal request to PAK to support in probe. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has formally requested Pakistan to cooperate in the investigation into the Uri attack in September last year. It may be recalled that 19 soldiers of the Indian army died in the attack by four Pakistani terrorists in Uriya.The Indian Army had a surgical strike to take revenge of this attack, in which the Indian army had destroyed Pakistan’s Terror launch pad after entering Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Now the NIA has formally sought help from Pakistan in this case, after which information has been sought about recovered commodities.Even after nine months of the attack, one out of four terrorists has been identified, whose name is being named Abu Anas. Information which India has sought from Pakistan includes the DNA of Anas, the terrorists’ shoes, clothes and medicines received from them and other belongings.
