Railway online ticketing can now be more expensive. Railway department has asked the Finance Ministry to allow him to set up service charges on online train tickets.For this, the railways have argued that he is already offering a variety of exemptions for the promotion of digital transaction. Therefore, the exemption of service charge on online ticket will be extended from June 30.If the Ministry of Finance accepts this request of the railway, then for buying online tickets passengers may have to pay service charge.With the introduction of GST to railways AC class passengers will have to pay half percent more tax than earlier. Now, those who travel in AC class have to pay 4.5 percent tax, while after GST it will be five percent.
