The two shooters namely Amandeep Singh Mani and Harjeet Singh Laddi who allegedly shot city bouncer Amit Sharma alias Meet outside Saketri temple on May 8, have finally surrendered themselves to Crime Investigation Agency (CIA-I) of Panchkula police on Thursday night. The same has been approved by Panchkula Commissioner RC Mishra in his recent statement.In a new twist to the case, it has now come to the fore that one more person, Munish, was also involved in the murder. On Monday, Gagandeep Singh Dhillon, the prime accused in the case was brought on production warrant by Panchkula police from Nabha Jail. He was earlier brought on production warrant by Mohali Police, last week following which it was revealed that he plotted a conspiracy from the jail with his two associates from Zirakpur, Amandeep Singh Mani and Harjeet Singh Laddi who shot down Meet.A senior Panchkula police official said four accused were involved in this case of whom three were in police custody while one accused, Munish, was still at large. Munish had taken the pistols, which were used in the murder, along with him. The police are yet to recover the pistols, the official added. According to sources, Munish and Ladi had fired the bullets on Meet on May 8. Among them, Munish had fired the first bullet. Mani was driving the car which was used in the crime.
