CPI (ML) contest two seats among Punjab polls
Nawanshahr: CPI(ML) New Democracy has decided to contest two seats of Nawanshahr and Balachaur in Punjab. Senior party leaders Daljit Singh and Kulwinder Singh on Saturday said that while Surinder Singh Bains will be the party nominee from Nawanshahr, Avtar Singh Tari will contest from Balachaur seat.
Both the leaders are well recognized faces in the district as both of them had been at forefront in various pro-people programmes launched by the party from time to time. The party leaders added that as both the farm and industrial sectors concerning farmers and labourers had touched an all time low in the past couple of years and some other vital sectors including power, education and transport were being gradually privatized.
The duo stated that people need to be made aware of anti-people policies of both SAD-BJP and Congress. They termed programmes of AAP and BSP, other major contestants during the poll, equally directionless.
