Due diarrhea second death was reported in Nanak Nagar during diarrhea outbreak from past couple of days. In past two days, as many as 87 cases of diarrhea was reported and confirmed by health department.
Praveen Kumari, resident of Salem Tabri and 2 years old Sonakshi were died due to disease in the area. However outbreak was reported two days back.Medical camp was organized and tablets and ORS were distributed among the patients. However sources claimed that medicines which were distributed were expired and inquiry was marked over this issue.
Health department has taken water and stool samples due diarrhea second death from the area to get to know about the reason behind the diarrhea outbreak.Residents of the concerned areas are still complaining about the contamination of water. The residents claimed that the area is facing trouble due to contaminated water for last many days and many residents got admitted in the hospital.
As health department is not taking proper action and awareness in different sensitive areas as many outbreaks are reported regularly in different areas. Only medical camps are being organized as no awareness in different areas.Meanwhile the health department distributed chlorine (for water) and other medicines in the area on Tuesday.
