After the contract in 2011, the company had started this work at the high level, but on January 6, 2015, after the political intervention of the company after the allegations that the company did not adhere to the rules in plating plates, Canceled. Meanwhile, the company could have plated only 13.20 thousand vehicles out of 60 lakh vehicles running on state roads. On the cancellation of the contract, there was a ruckus among consumers in different cities of Punjab and their allegation that even after depositing the money, their vehicles did not get high security number plate and the government canceled the contract. On the contrary, the company remained firm on its transparency and job guarantee.The department issued show-cause notices to the company without political pressure, the administrators knocked on the door of the court demanding justice for the cancellation of the contract and demanded justice from the respected court. In this case on January 18, 2016, the court handed over to the three-member tribunal. After the government changed, the department tried to amend its mistake and also imposed a fine of crores of rupees by seizing the reserve amount of the company but the tribunal could not prove any allegation against the company during the proceedings before the tribunal and finally the tribunal orders of high security plates on vehicles were ordered to be started in 4 months, after which the transport department sent file to the Attorney General for legal opinion in this regard. Once the flag is flagged off, the company will then start the construction of high security number plates on vehicles in the state.
