5 key points to know to iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777 from Airtel store. Airtel is giving an alluring offer. This teleocom in India is trying to sell an high-end phone by offering it with a monthly plan. This time the iPhone 7 has been hoing to be in offer and Airtel is going to sell it for Rs 7,777. That will be initial down payment a person will make for the phone. After that person will pay a sort of EMI for 24 months, which will also include charges for Airtel’s telecom services. There are terms and conditions. It’s not like you are going to pay Airtel Rs 7,777 and walk away with the iPhone 7Here are the point to know:-
First of all the price. The iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777 deal has two components to it. One is the down payment and the other is the monthly recurring charges. As the name of the Airtel offer suggests, the iPhone 7 available with the down payment of Rs 7,777. This is for the 32GB variant of the device. The iPhone 7 with 128GB of storage requires down payment of Rs 16,300. The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus requires down payment of Rs 17,300 whereas the 128GB iPhone 7 Plus needs one-time payment of Rs 26,000 in addition to monthly charges. The second component of the deal is that you will also have to pay Airtel Rs 2,499 per month for 24 months while using the iPhone 7. This monthly charge is same for all four variants of the iPhone 7. This means apart from the down payment that you make depending on which iPhone 7 you are getting, you will also have to pay Rs 2499 x 24 = Rs 59976 to Airtel. Now, with this money that Airtel is charging you the telecom company is not only trying to recover the cost of the iPhone it is giving you but also offering you telecom services that include 30GB data per month and unlimited local and STD calls.Although the offer sounds quite tempting, if you make the calculation, it will actually force you to pay more — around Rs 12,000 in the case of 32GB iPhone 7 — than what you will spend in case you decide to buy the iPhone 7 at the market rate and then subscribe to a Airtel monthly plan that gives 30GB data and unlimited free and STD calls. In other words, it is not that a great deal.Although, money wise, the iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777 doesn’t seem like a great deal, it does have some components that can be valuable to you. Apart from the phone and data services, Airtel is also offering 2 years limited warranty and insurance for the iPhone 7. This can be valuable because otherwise the iPhone by Apple is offered with just 1 year of warranty, and that too without any insurance against physical damage of theft. At the same time, Airtel also hints that after 24 months are over, it will give its iPhone 7 users option to upgrade to a newer device. It is possible that this upgrade will be a newer iPhone and consumers moving the new device may get a discount. It’s important to note that the iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777 is available only to post-paid consumers. Also, one key bit here is that this offer is not available to everyone. What Airtel is doing here is that it is giving you a loan and it is setting aside the total cost of the iPhone 7 and the bundled data plan as the debt that consumers have to repay. But just like any other loan, not everyone will be offered this scheme. When you try to get the iPhone 7 as part of the offer, Airtel will check for your credit worthiness and whether you will be able to pay the monthly EMI or not. When it is satisfied that you can pay the monthly charges for at least 24 hours, it will allow you to purchase the iPhone 7 for Rs 7,777.
