Honda reveals HR-V facelift, India launch soon. Honda has revealed its latest HR-V facelift in a series of images uploaded on their Japanese website. The HR-V is sold in Japan under the name Vezel. The images of the facelift confirm the details which were revealed in the leak which happened a few days back. The facelifted model gets new LED headlamps with a larger grille and revised fog lamp housing on a new bumper.
Honda has not yet confirmed the equipment which will accompany the HR-V but on the confirmed list, the HR-V will get Honda’s safety and driver assistance systems which are called as Honda Sensing and will be offered on high-spec trims. On the list of goodies is Honda’s latest infotainment system which comes with satellite navigation, as well as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Mechanically, details are yet to be confirmed but the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.8-litre petrol, 1.6-litre diesel and the 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid unit are expected to continue unchanged from the pre-facelift model. The HR-V will make its Japanese debut on February 15, 2018, wherein the details of the car will be revealed.
Domestically, the HR-V is slated to make landfall next year, along with five other models which Honda will launch as a part of its initiative of six cars, three years. Engine variants will be a 1.8-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel.
