Malerkotla: AAP MLA Naresh Yadav left court at 9.45 am after appearance before judge today .AAP MLA yadav appeared before the sub-divisional judicial magistrate( SDJM ) First class court at 9.30 am today in connection with the alleged sacrilege incident in Malerkotla. No other accused personally present in court. There was tight security in the court.
On Saturday, AAP MLA Yadav was granted bail by a local court here in connection with the alleged sacrilege incident in Malerkotla on June 24.
On July 24,Sangrur police arrested MLA Naresh Yadav who was booked in connection with the alleged Malerkotla sacrilege incident on June 24.Yadav was booked under relevant sections of the IPC after one of the accused, Vijay Kumar, arrested in connection with the incident, claimed he had done it at the behest of the AAP MLA.
The MLA was booked under various sections of IPC including 109 (punishment for abatement if the act abetted is committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment) and 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth etc and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony).
