Nawanshahr: The woes of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab are increasing with each passing day.
After the recently sacked state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur accused AAP’s national leadership of being indulged in anti-Punjab activities, now the volunteers of Nawanshahr unit have charged the party’s central leadership (Delhi committee) of being involved in various scandalous activities.
The party volunteers have categorically accused the Delhi unit of fleecing the Punjab unit by selling the speakers used in “Parivar Jodo Campaign” at a very high price. They calculated it an overcharging of at least Rs 30 lakh. While putting weight behind their allegation, the party volunteers, during a press meet, even produced some documentary evidences.
Going ahead, the party volunteers further termed the party’s much publicised “AAP Ka Daan”, a fund collecting campaign, also not a fair operation. Training their guns at the central leadership of the party, the local volunteers claimed that the buses hired for arranging crowd in the party rallies were also not paid yet.
The volunteers also aired their anguishes against the committee formed under the headship of Durgesh Pathak, party’s organisational chief.
