Nabha Jail Break case
Patiala: A court in the sub -divisional township of Nabha on Saturday extended the police remand of dreaded gangster Gurpreet Singh Sekhon and four other accused involved in the famous Nabha Jail Break case till February 23.
The Judge pronounced the decision after all the accused were presented before the court in high- security cover.
The police held that they want to interrogate and get out more information out of the accused and their untraced accomplices who fled from Nabha maximum security jail on the morning of November 27.
It may be mentioned here that Sekhon fled with other accused on November 27 when some armed persons came in cars and stormed the high- security jail by wearing police uniforms and fired over 100 rounds.
The police brought Sekhon his associates Manvir Singh alias Mani, Rajwinder Singh alias Sultan, Kulwinder Singh alias Seera and Kiranpal Singh (owner of the Gun House)
