Ferozepur: The voters of posh Dhawan colony in Ferozepur were caught in a fix as they could not find their names in the voter lists on Saturday.

Desperate voters were seen searching for their voters list at HM DAV Public School Ferozepur City. Interestingly, all the people had been living in this colony since thirty odd years or more and had polled their votes in every previous elections.

The people accused BLO of keeping them in dark and smelled a conspiracy behind striking off their names from voters list.

Names of residents of about 50 houses of Dhawan Colony were found missing.

Election Officer, said that he will go through the matter and ensure that such thing thus not get repeaed in future.

The Crime and Corruption Reforms Organisation urged to hold an inquiry and punish officials who are behind this fiasco.
