Chandigarh: Taking the serious note of Punjab CM begging for votes on the pretext of his age, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann criticised the move of CM and said that despite holding the CM chair, Parkash Singh Badal implementing his last tool. Mann said that SAD was facing brunt in Punjab that resulted their leaders to turned down to emotional blackmail.
Countering the age factor play card of CM Badal to lure the voters, Mann said that Punjab CM should more concerned about the state benefits instead of his own age.
However, Bhagwant Mann released his statement on his facebook page, where he criticised the latest statement of Punjab CM.
Mann said that there were several incidents left in the lurch hurting sentiments of Punjab residents, but the ruling government remained mum on such issues. He added that the increasing incident of desecration of holy books in Punjab indicates the law and order situation in Punjab.
Adding on he stated, during Badal tenure around 80% farmers were forced to take the extreme step of committing suicide for not receiving compensation of damaged crops. While raising the question, Mann said that whom to blame for such deaths in Punjab, whereas government was not owning their farmers, who were the major source of revenue of state.
Revisiting the drugs issue, Mann accused Majithia for indulging the youth of Punjab in synthetic drugs. He said that between the age of 20 to 30 majority of the youngsters addicted for drugs due to availability. Instead of halting the drugs trade in Punjab, SAD’s own ministers were involved in the chain of smuggling.
Targeting Bikram Majithia, Mann said maximum youth of 20-30 age group died because of drugs in Punjab.
