Chandigarh: The Punjab government has declared public holiday on September 13, on account of Eid-ul-Zuha, which was earlier scheduled for September 12, 2016.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson said this holiday is declared under Section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 and would be observed as a Gazetted Holiday in the government offices. A notification in this regard has already been issued.
He further said that now September 12, 2016 (Monday) shall be observed as working day.
