Chandigarh: Preparing for a war like situation in Punjab, the government has made the arrangements accordingly. While addressing the media, Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal said that the government has given Rs 1 crore to deputy commissioners of border districts to facilitates evacuees.
While detailing the evacuation of border belt villages, Badal said that 60 villages in Fazilka, 300 in Ferozepur, 135 Taran Tarn, 137 Amritsar, 290 Gurdaspur and 65 in Pathankot. Badal said that the centre government will decide either to take the participation of Pakistan in World Kabaddi cup or not.
