Badal: Pissed off from the unemployment, a commerce graduate thrown a letter on the car of Punjab chief minister outside his house in Badal, on Monday. The incident had taken place at around 9 in the morning, when 25-year-old Dinesh Kumar native of village Killiayanwali went to meet Parkash Singh Badal. According to the information, CM security did not allow him to enter in house.
Following the security blockade the youngster kept waiting outside with his job application. It has been reported that when the cavalcade of Punjab CM rolls out from his house, Kumar has thrown his documents along with plea letter. Meanwhile, the security deployed outside the house detained him on the spot.
Upset over not being allowed to meet Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, an unemployed youth on Monday threw his degrees and certificates at the car of the chief minister in Punjab’s Muktsar district.
Dinesh Kumar, 25, threw his certificates towards Badal’s car as it came out from Badal’s farmhouse in Badal village of Muktsar, 260 km from here.
The chief minister’s security personnel immediately detained the youth. He was later let off with a warning, police officials said. His certificates were returned to him.
Kumar, who hails from Killianwali village, threw the certificates in disgust as Badal’s security personnel did not allow him to meet the chief minister.
Badal, 88, enjoys Z-plus security cover.
The Punjab government and the chief minister face protests from unemployed youth and others at a number of venues. With assembly elections just around four months away, the protests have also increased.
