Chandigarh: President of President ETT TET-Pass Unemployed Teachers Union alleged of being threatened over manoeuvre of the two jobless teachers who have climbed atop mobile tower for the past 10 days.
President of the union Amarjit Kamboj said, “I have received a call from somebody claiming himself to be from the administration and threatened me to get down the two teachers from mobile tower at Punjab Bhawan at Sector 3, Chandigarh. The caller told me that I would be arrested for the same and the Police are searching for me.” “We have asked the department to send us a letter for a formal meeting, no verbal communication will be accepted”, added Kamboj.
Meanwhile, the health of the two TET-pass-teachers at mobile tower is turning worse now due to cold weather and eatables coming to an end.
Demanding a five-minutes meet with Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, the two jobless ETT teachers have already gone on fast-unto-death from Sunday onwards.
The two sitting atop mobile tower at Punjab Bhawan have been demanding a meeting with the Punjab Chief Ministerl and Education Secretary to discuss matter of recruitments of ETT teachers.Meanwhile, the Police force with two ambulances and fire brigade team remained on ground to keep vigil over the protesters.
