Chandigarh: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Chandigarh team have busted two cousin for allegedly possessing contraband in their possession. The NCB team has recovered 610 grams of heroin from their possession.
According to police, the accused have been identified as Ajit and Shivam, both residents of Bhiwani, Haryana. Kuldeep Sharma, Superintendent, NCB said that the source of heroin is Delhi. This is the sixteenth seizure by NCB during this year. NCB Chandigarh had received information that the accused person is doing the business of Heroin from their rented house number 161, Aadarsh Nagar, Zirakpur. He was into drug smuggling for last 6 months. He bought the above consignment for Rs 10 lakh.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the NCB team of Chandigarh has arrested a Panchkula resident for allegedly possessing contraband and recovered 1.470 kilograms of Opium from his possession. DP
