Chandigarh: Grugram Gladiators will clash with Sirsa Warriors in the final of the Haryana Premier Cricket League T20. Gladiators defeated Rohtak Blasters in the first semi-final while Sirsa came over the thrashed Kurukshetra tigers in the day night semi-final played at Cricket, Stadium. Sector-16.
In the first semi-final match Rohtak Blasters won the field and choose to field. Batting first Gurugram posted a huge target of 175 for loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Kurukshetra Openers Ankush Dhariwal And Vishal Thind added 55 runs in 6.4 overs. Dhariwal scored 31 runs while Thind scored 26 runs before they were claimed by Ashish Bhist and Vijay Kumat respectively. The middle order capitalised the start and built small partnership to take the team to a mammoth total. Aminderjit Singh scored 29 runs while Sagar Babbar provided the final push as he chipped in with 23 runs in the end.
For the bowling side Somveer and Ashish Bhist were most successful bowlers. They took two and three wickets respectively.
Chasing the total Rohtak Blasters never looked in pursuit. They kept loosing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 153 with eight balls to be bowled in the match. For the bowling side Aman Bharti and Vikas Uchitra shred the spoils both claimed three wickets each.
