Green Hawk Air CEO Col Anil Raj said, “It was an amazing experience to fly over the skies of City Beautiful. However, in the three-day event, we have incurred losses as the total income was of Rs 21.77 lakh whereas the company owes Rs 24.7 lakh to the company from which the helicopters were hired. Moreover, we also have to pay the various taxes and duties which when accumulated will jump to approximately Rs 28 to Rs 29 lakh incurring a loss to the tune of Rs 6 to 7 lakh.
Nevertheless the experience was great and we would like to bid again if given a chance.”
The final day of the helicopter rides witnessed a huge rush of joy riders as a result Green Hawk Air was forced to press two helicopters in action on Sunday. The second helicopter also changed the aerial route flying over central-southern sectors of the city, whereas the first one maintained the previous circuit over northern sectors.
