Chandigarh : The jobless ETT TET pass teachers union has threatened to climb atop more mobile towers in Chandigarh in upcoming days if their demand is not accepted.
“If our demand is not accepted, more of our union members will climb atop mobile tower and the consequences will be terrible”, said Amarjit Kamboj, President of President ETT TET-Pass Unemployed Teachers Union.
We had already warned the concerned authorities to comply with our demands or more of our union members who are already in city will target more mobile towers and climb atop, he added.
We don’t aim to disturb law but we demand the govt to listen to our grief and act , but if there is still not any response from the government or concerned authorities our protest will continue in a similar manner. We are just demanding for our rights as which have been approved by the Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal, added Kamboj, President of Union.
A total of five TET pass jobless teachers are now on two different mobile towers at Sector 3, Chandigarh.
Two jobless ETT teachers Deepak (35) and Rakesh (29) had climbed the mobile tower on a height of around 80-90 feet since a fortnight and have already gone on fast unto death.
