Chandigarh: After awaring people through the street play ‘Main Hu Yama’, the Chandigarh traffic marshals in cooperation with the Chandigarh Traffic Police are scripting a ‘short film’ based on the street play.
According to the police, the short film, ‘Main Hu Yama’ means I am God of death (Yamraj) is being shot based on the script of street play made earlier by the traffic marshals of Chandigarh Traffic Police.
Rajiv Ambasta, DSP Traffic Police, said that the street play is being converted into a short film now by the traffic marshals. The street play on the same topic has been prepared earlier and presented very well by the traffic marshals during the traffic awareness programmes.
According to the script of ‘Main Hu Yama’, the participants will try to make aware people as after violating the traffic norms, the offender not only faces the traffic challan but also can get a chance to meet the God of death (Yamraj).
The idea of the script is great as it creates a horror among the drivers as if they violate the traffic rules, they will not be only penalized by the traffic police but the accidents can be tragic to their life as well, said the police official.
The traffic marshals along with the Chandigarh traffic Police cops have been performing the street play on the topic in public and have been applause by the public. The short film will also be able to leave a much higher impact on the public, added the official.
