Mohali: Mohali Police arrested a main kingpin in 42 lakh fake currency note case. Police arrested the accused Parmod kumar from kharar bus stand on Monday. He was produced to Mohali court today. Honorable court has sent him to five days police Remand.
SHO police station Sohana Hasrsimran Singh Bal said that parmod was roaming in the area from last few days. Police had accurate information that he was in kharar and police arrest him from kharar bus stand. He was the main kingpin of the gang.
“He worked as driver, helper and “chownkidar” in gang. He may have old currency notes of 500-1000 amount of approx 30 lakh. Other then this amount police shall recover approximately 22 lakh currency of fake notes.” Says Bal.
We have produced fake currency kingpin to District Court Mohali, where the honorable court has sent him to five days police remand. According to SHO police station Sohana harsimran Singh bal,
“Police investigation is on progress. We have sufficient evidences and leads in this case.” He added
It is pertinent that Tuesday late evening Mohali Police arrested three people, named abhinav sharama, vishakha verma and suman nagpal. two boys and one girl with fake currency of Rs 42 lakh of 2000Rs notes along with one Audi Q7 no. HR70U-0004.
All three were making fool of the people for exchange their currency notes at 30 pc Commission. They return remaining 70 pc currency in fake notes.
