The motor cyclist got injuries and was admitted in Government Hospital Sector-16
Chandigarh: A motorcycle rider was critically injured after he was allegedly hit by a rashly driven unknown car here at dividing of Sector 15/16 on Monday night.
According to police, an unknown driver of car sped away after hitting to motorcycle (CH-01BH-8639) driven by Sunil Kumar a resident of Sector 24-C, Chandigarh near light point, Sector 15/16, Chandigarh. The motor cyclist got injuries and was admitted in Government
Hospital Sector-16, Chandigarh in unconscious condition and later referred to PGI, Chandigarh.
In another case, Anurag Singh, a resident of Sector 46,
alleged driver of car (PB-01A- 7176) sped away after hitting complainant’s motorcycle (HP-39- B-2289) at Sector 40/41light point. The complainant got injuries and was admitted to PGI.
The Police have registered a case under sections 279 (rash driving) and 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code in Police Station Sector-39.
