Gurugram jail was raided on Saturday by the Crime branch team of Haryana Police. Led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sumit Kumar, the team seized 20 Mobile phones with 12 SIM cards of different companies and 2 chargers.
The raid was conducted after a complaint was received at office of Sandeep Khirwar Gurugram Commissioner of Police. It was said that some dreaded gangsters were operation from inside of the jail
The Police registered a case against a few inmates and unknown person. The spokesperson of the Police added that such raids would be conducted in future as well. Also, strict action would be taken against the jail staff included.
