Haryana government has made about 54,197 appointments so far and 17,000 posts are to be filled ahead of elections which are under process

Job promises ahead of the elections has been a political trend in Haryana for the past two decades to woo all sections of the society. In view of this, a huge proportions of new appointments is under process which is likely to place soon, most probably ahead of elections. Haryana government has made about 54197 appointments so far and 17000 posts are to be filled ahead of elections which are under process. It is pertinent to mention that BJP government had advertised nearly 71000 posts during its regime and one third of the total have been filled. Along with this, the appointment of 7100 cops is also under process and is likely to take place before the month of March. All parties eye on voters , particularly on youth. The speculations of simultaneous conduct of Lok Sabha and assembly elections led to the possibility of early appointments of above posts as it will get BJP the favour of voters. Jind bye-elections also proved it to some extent getting BJP victory with handsome margin of votes as government had declared the result of group-d posts . It came to light that about 122000 appointments have been made during last 20 years by various governments.
Out of these appointments , Congress had appointed more than 50 per cent of total posts from March 2005 to October 2014 while ruling and Indian National Lok Dal( INLD) filled up 54000 and 5600 posts respectively . INLD has been at lowered rank. BJP government has declared the result of Groupd posts in last week of January which was largest appointment in the state so far. Though, appointments which are under process includes 7100 posts of police department. Besides , nearly 2600 posts fall under skill developments department. Also about 8000 appointments have been made so far are sub-judice and cases pertaining to the same are under process. Sources said that filling up of posts may be a final effort to win over the jobless before forthcoming elections. The BJP government claimed that a total of 24000 persons had been appointed in universities, colleges, police and other departments on merit till June 2018 which proved fruitful to remove unemployment to some extent as unemployment was a major sociopolitical issue in Haryana. Out of a total 18218 Group-D appointments made last months ,Bhiwani has topped the list with 2299 appointments followed by Hisar and Jind with 2034 and 1659 respectively . Mahendergarh has been ranked on foouth position with 1428 appointments followed by Kaithal with 1037 new employed persons. About 2000 people have been employed in Sonipat and Rewari. Panchkula is at lowered rand with just 111 appointments.
