Apart from this, he used to showcase his strength in hardcore Jatland including Rohtak, Jhajjar and Sonipat. Rohtak, which was won by his son Deepender Singh Hooda, was the single segment which survived the Modi wave in parliamentary elections in 2014. Though, a string of corruption cases registered against him during the BJP regime have dented his image and BJP claims that these cases will result in the defeat of the Congress across the state. Ajay Yadav and Kuldeep Bishnoi. “When questioned, state party president said Ashok Tanwar said that no particular one is the face of the party at present and we all are united and prepared for the parliamentary elections”.We look at Jat leaders in all parties, Hooda holds the sway across the state.
