Surendra Chauhan writes letter to Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur suggesting over economic crises which Shimla can face in the near future. He further mentioned the problems which people of Shimla are facing economically and suggested how authorities can overcome economic crises. He mentioned in the letter that members of Municipal corporation Shimla are providing information related to increase in the fees for Door Garbage collection from 50 to 75 rupees from the domestic level, Rs. 300 to 600 rupees from people running tea stalls which will put burden on them.Further he said that, “Sir, I want to bring to your notice that if the government carries the cost of this, which is very low for the government, it will have three benefits:

1. The people of the city will not be financially vulnerable.

2. The Sehav Society, which is in losses shown by the Municipal Corporation can be saved because their monthly salary is given by door to door-to-door garbage collection.

3. Also if Sehav society gets merged into MC, the problem can be solved.

Thus he requests that this matter should be taken seriously and people in Shimla should be saved from economic crises.
