New Delhi: Base metal prices declined by upto Rs 4 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
Traders said weak demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market led to the decline in base metal prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot fell by Rs 4 and Rs 2 to Rs 365 and Rs 106-112 per kg, respectively.
Lead ingot and lead imported also enquired lower by Rs 2 each to Rs 95 and Rs 101 per kg, respectively.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg): Zinc ingot Rs 106-112, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 810-815, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 365, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 95, lead imported Rs 101, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. PTI
