While talking with a gym trainer Bunty Bedi, he said, “Salads these days are the best thing to eat to stay fit. We always tell the youngsters not to go for some synthetic products rather for staying fit salads are best as it contains all minerals, fibres, vitamins. And the best part is one can have the salad with the veggies and fat free sauces of his own taste.”
Healthy salads to opt for
Chicken Caesar Salad – One can have the chicken with the yummy caesar sauce and even can add the lettuce and the vegetables which have good water content.
Roasted Sweet Potato salad- This vegetarian recipe won’t leave a rumbling stomach. Sweet potatoes are a good source of filling fiber, so you get nearly half your daily intake in this simple salad.
Mix Vegetable salad- This is not tough to make at home. All you need is to collect the vegetables of your choice add it and mix it with the fat free sauces and if not fat free then different varieties if Mayo can be added to make it finger licking.
Don’t just stick to the heavy spicy food platters and bowls rather go and order a healthy salad platter and bowl from your nearest salad point. You can make the salad of your own choice with your own favorite veggies and pasta and macaroni.So, opting for healthy salads is the answer for your fitness.
