Chandigarh: Former congress leader Jagmeet Brar indicates in his talk with media that he might launch his own party, while addressing the media at Batala Brar said that Punjab is waiting for a big change that may take place before 15 August.
Brar said that senior leaders from both the parties including congress and SAD have contacted him to join his campaign in Punjab. He added that second line leaders had played vital roles for their parties but now the party leaders have side lined them and they appreciated his move of getting separate from congress.
While justifying his relation with Bains brothers, he said that it is possible to join the hand with Bains brothers as they have done commendable job in their constituency and they were also highlighting the similar issues of Punjab. While appreciating the move of Bains brothers against the illegal mining, brar said that he will start the campaign against the agriculture problems and also against the royal families who were ruling the state.
Commenting over the congress party, Brar said that he will not return to congress party even if the national leaders of party plead him. He raised the question mark over the leadership of Punjab congress Chief Captain Amrinder Singh and said that congress had lost twice under the leadership of Captain that indicates that he is not able to handle the Punjab congress. He added that Captain has put the national leaders in dark regarding his resignation to congress where he had spreads the vague information that Brar will share the stage with AAP and party issued the notice to him.
