Student who are aspiring to become an engineer and architect, here is the good news for all the JEE-2017 candidates. From 2017 onwards, JEE Mains rank will not include the class 12th result of students but other than that students must secure minimum of 75% in boards and 65% for SC/ST. Following are the details:
For beginners, JEE is basically JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM which is conducted by CBSE for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in IITs, NITs, IIIT and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, participating state government institutions and several other institutions. From JEE 2017, JEE scores will be accepted to get admission in any of above instituitions. Top 2 lakh candidates are eligible for taking admission in undergraduate programme of IITS/ISM Dhanbad. Last year 13 lakh canmdidates gave JEE examination to get into the best engineering and architecture instituition.
JEE 2017 mains will be consist of two papers and depending upon the choices of candidate they can appear in the examinations. There will be Paper 1 for B.E/B.TECH and Paper 2 for B.Arch/ B.Planning. Details are given below:
States like Gujrat, Odisha, Nagaland, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand would be taking JEE 2017 mains score for admission. State level examinations will not be conducted in these states. Hence, students are advised to fill JEE Main application form 2017 from these above states because from this time onwards these states are not going to conduct any state level examination.
Apart from these states, there are alot of instituitions and states which gives admission based upon the JEE Mains score like Thapar University, DTU. IISc Bangalore, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute, Mahindra Ecole, BIT Mesra, JAYPEE. These institution gives examination on basis of JEE Mains and students seeking admission in these instituition must fill JEE MAINS 2017.
