New Delhi: The national capital today woke upto a minimum of 9 degrees Celsius with the MET predicting near normal temperature through the day.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 23 degrees Celsius. Shallow fog was witnessed during the early morning hours, the met office said.
Visibility was recorded at 600 metres at 8.30 AM at the Safdarjung observatory while humidity was 95 per cent.
Private forecaster Skymet Weather had yesterday forecast that both the day and night temperatures are likely to be near normal in the city. However, night temperatures may drop by 1-2 degrees once more on February 9 and February 10.
Yesterday, the mercury had settled at a minimum of 8.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius. PTI
