Amritsar: Giving a boost to its cellular service,Vodafone, a giant in telecom sector,on Wednesday launched 4G network in holy city.With this, Vodafone became second 4G service provider in Punjab after Reliance, which had started its 4G network in the middle of last year.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajat Awasthi, business head, north India of the company, claimed that Vodafone was the biggest network operator in cellular phone service in India and its 4G service had already been introduced in as many as 19 states of the country so far. He,however, claimed that the company had a strong customer base of 11 crore clients in the countryside alone.
Avasthi asserted that with launching of 4G network, subscribers would have access to most advanced technology in telecom sector and the subscribers could view programs of their choice upon as many as 175 TV channels round the clock.”
The biggest benefit of 4G network, however, is that there is no need to download a photograph to spot it, rather you can directly refer to the pix”, the north india’s head of business operations remarked.
Dhiraj Israni, an associate vice president of sales and marketing section in the company claimed that there were more than 10,000 exclusive outlets of Vodafone company, run by the company straighway, in the country.
