2.0 Movie Review: Oh ho …! The wait is over, and the movie is all over… Some great visual delights, awe inspiring graphics, very effective 3-D, improved VFX from Indian standards, subject too making a point and not to miss Amy Jackson.. A robot who acts better as humanoid than most of the actresses on celluloid who act robotic even for human emotions … These are the real highs of the movie … The flip side is that the grandeur leaves little for acting and Rajni the Superstar is fed so much that at times you get sick of what is happening … Well as if Dr Vashikaran and chitti weren’t enough, we have 2.0 version, 3.0 miniature version and to whet the appetite of his fans even half of Pakshiraj character is also hobbled by him.Frankly I pity Askhay Kumar who had raised so much hope in it but has little to do … After all most of the time he is computerised bird in air, other times he is whiskered bird face who does not really look menacing but comical, and at some places he is fireball stuck with mobile phone all over and the only time he is able to make his presence felt is when he plays the old man fighting for the rights of birds.Well the songs don’t live up to expectations and music is so loud and over powering that in few scenes one may get a cosy nap for few minutes couple of times … While photography is too good and movie moves fast, the overdoing of fight scenes with multiple robots, birds and cell phones look artificial at places … For Hindi movie goers the dubbing is unimpressive. However all said and done there is enough in this not to feel deceived.Final words ..not up to the expectations but over all not a disappointment either.
