Director Shoaib Mansoor was reportedly asked to make certain changes to his film, but he refused.“The production team has filed an appeal with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. An appellate board was formed to review the movie one more time,” distributor Badar Akram told.Verna was reviewed last night after an appeal by the director “for the urgent relief of Verna”.
