“Rambo” is coming to Bollywood. Filmmaker Siddharth Anand is teaming up with Indian actor and martial arts expert Tiger Shroff for an official remake . “Rambo” is scheduled to begin shooting Hindi remake of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo franchise in February 2018 and all set to go on floors in November 2019. Anand and Shroff are officially announcing the project next week at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was initially supposed to go on floors in December 2017, however due to Shroff and director Siddharth Anand‘s schedules, the filming of the movie could not commence.According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the film will start in November 2019. Siddharth, who is also producing the story, told the tabloid that it will be shot completely in Himalayas and Europe as the film requires a snowy backdrop. To note, Siddharth and Tiger also collaborating for another film which stars Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor. So, that film will go on floors first (probably in August this year), and both Tiger and Siddharth will be busy with this one till mid-2019. Meanwhile, Shroff is currently wrapping up the filming for Baaghi 2 which is expected to hit theaters on 30 March. He will then take on Punit Malhotra’s Student of the Year 2, which is all set for a 23 November release.‘Rambo’ is a film-series based on the David Morrell novel First Blood with Stallone as the titular John Rambo, a troubled Vietnam War veteran and former US Army Special Forces soldier who is skilled in many aspects of survival, weaponry, hand-to-hand combat and guerrilla warfare. The series consists of four films — First Blood (1982), Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985), Rambo III (1988) and Rambo (2008).
