45th Chaplin Award: Dame Helen Lydia Mirren,is an English actor. Mirren began her acting career with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1967, and is one of the few performers who have achieved the Triple Crown of Acting, having won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2007, after two previous nominations, for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced on Saturday that Helen Mirren will be honoured at the 45th Chaplin Award Gala on April 30, 2018. The Film Society of Linclon Center is a film presentation organization based in New York, United States.“It is an honour and a pleasure for us to present Helen Mirren with our 45th Chaplin Award. From housemaid to Queen and everything in between, Ms Mirren has delivered masterful performances of complex characters, upending stereotype after stereotype along the way,” said Ann Tenenbaum, the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s Board Chairman.
