Picture of Sunny Leone with her baby girl is raising controversies. Recently Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber adopted a baby girl. They named the girl Nisha Kaur Weber. When they adopt her the pictures went viral. But according to some sources, the same news is now turning into a controversy.
The Star Child Protection Committee has now taken offense against CARA for sharing the picture of the girl on social media and commented on the child’s skin colour and appearance.
This happened while CARA was trying to praise the actress on Twitter over adopting the child. Now, a complaint has been filed with the National Commission for Protection of Child’s Rights and Ministry of Child and Women Development.
Maneka Gandhi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development will take necessary actions against the officer who violated the JJ Act. Yashwant Jain, National Commission for Protection of Child’s Right’s member also got the tweet deleted.
Nisha had been turned down by 11 prospective parents before Sunny Leone adopted her.
Earlier this month, Child Adoption Resource Agency (CARA) CEO Lt Col Deepak Kumar had said, “Without looking at colour, background and health status, Sunny Leone happily took the child in adoption. We respect that they didn’t try to bend the rules and stood in the queue like all the other parents.”
