Punjabi film ‘Two Brothers’: A cultured Punjabi film ‘Two Brothers’, made in May of 2016 has became the first Punjabi short film to be screened at Busan International Film Festival. This short film made by the youngsters has already done its two screenings and both of the screenings have been honored with the ‘Best Jury Film Award’ and ‘Honourable Jury Award.’ The movie illustrates the story of the victims of 1984.The story was written on the basis of life of the common people of that time so the movie is totally based on that. Small Budget film ‘Two Brothers’ is the first Indian short film of the year and got selected for the prestigious film festival. R.B Singh (Director of the Two Brothers) with his Team, Amardeep singh Khokar (Producer), Srikanth Kabothu ( Director of Photography), Arunima Shankar (Editor) and Amarbir Singh (Assistant Director) attended the Busan International Film Festival 2017.This short film already won Best Film Jury Award for the first screening on April 30th at 7th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. After this, on June 11, the film won the prestigious Jury Award in the 6th Bangalore Short Film Festival.The film will be released on a wide range of channels of social media through the medium of the Internet in the beginning of year 2018, said film’s Producer Khokhar.
