Chandigarh, April 17: Despite the huge claims of cordial relations by the CM Captain Amrinder Singh with PPCC Chief Sunil Jakhar, it seems the gaps between duo are going to be deepens. Cabinet expansion is one of the many agendas, which are likely to be discussed in the proposed meeting between Rahul Gandhi and CM Amrinder Singh, Sunil Jakhar. But talking to daily Post, Jakhar said that he was aware about the meeting, which is scheduled for April 19, but he was totally unaware about the Cabinet expansion agenda or creation of Legislative Assistants. He told that he had come to know about the creation of Legislative Assistants post in media.
A week ago, conflicts had been appeared between the relations of CM and Jakhar, when Jakhar could not able to get an opportunity of meeting with CM despites the three times efforts, but when he get an opportunity in fourth time , the mobile deposition by the CMO’s security led the Jakhar to left the CMO without any meeting. Although, both were seen together in Jalandhar to attend the Dr BR Ambedkar anniversary celebration on April 14, but the meeting could not able to restore their first such relation. As the Punjab Government is almost ready to induct 9 more minister and formal approval is to be taken from the Congress Chief on 19 April.Sunil Jakhar is in Delhi and it is said that both CM and Jakhar are to attend the meeting with Rahul. In the Party circle and Government circle, the expansion of cabinet, Chairmanship of Boards and Corporations and creation of Legislative Assistants are the public talk now, but it seems that Jakhar has not been formally informed about such development. Sunil Jakhar is not the first President with whom the Captain is confronted. Earlier, the relation of Captain with Partap Singh Bajwa, Shamsher Singh Dulo, Mahinder Singh KP were not found amicable and the stories of their confrontation were public talk. Now it is being said that on April 19, in the meeting with Rahul Gandhi, a development in the Punjab Congress is likely to take place.
